The Organization of Chinese Americans, Fairfield County Chapter (OCAFC) is holding its annual Chinese New Year Dinner Dance on Saturday, Jan 25th, at the Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Stamford from 5:00 pm to 11 pm. Festivities begin with a Dragon Dance by students of the Chinese Language School of Fairfield County to herald in the Year of the Horse. Entertainment includes traditional dance by CLSFC students, performances by the OCAFC Chorus, renowned concert pianist Dr. Tienni Chen, and international award-winning violinist Richard Lin. Ten course feast, Raffles of popular products and services. And dancing to favorite hits!

Lunarfest, a day-long event offering cultural programs for adults and children of all ages, will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2014 in celebration of the Year of the Horse.
Lunarfest kicks off at 10:00AM with a lion dance on Whitney Avenue between Grove Street and Trumbull Street. Celebrate alongside the famed Wan Chi Ming Hung Gar Institute’s lion dance troupe as they bring good luck and prosperity to the New Haven merchants and community members.
